Tomato & Basil Smoothie
It is like taking a Caprese salad, minus the mozzarella, making this recipe a refreshing smoothie. Tomato and basil pair extremely well together as whole foods so it is no wonder it also works together in a beverage.
Ingredients
Non-fat milk, unsweetened almond milk, or homemade almond milk | 1 c |
Heirloom tomatoes, cored and chopped | 2 c |
Fat-free plain Greek yogurt | 1 c |
Basil leaves | 1/2 c |
Sea salt (optional) | 1/8 t |
Instructions
Blend and serve.
