Eric Jackson, PhD, is currently the Chief Technical Officer for 25:2 Solutions and the architect of the company’s NATIVCROP Lab. Throughout his career, Jackson has studied biology as a pre-med student, plant pathology, quantitative genetics, and statistical genomics. As Senior Principal Scientist at General Mills Inc., Jackson became the first scientist to completely domesticate a wild oat species using a novel non-GMO approach.
In this podcast, Jackson discusses oats and bitter compounds. Jackson first started studying oats over ten years ago during his postdoctoral fellowship with the USDA and Texas A&M University.
